Re: Help exporting stills in 4k not in HD. Yes on 1, 2, and 3, but also 4: Project Settings Image Scaling | Output Scaling. There you can override the default behavior and set the output resolution to HD. This issue is that if the monitor is displaying HD, then when I grab a still it is saved as HD.

Brand new install of Resolve 17.1.1 Build 9 on Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 7-5800, 64GB Ram, Nvidia GTX1070 GPU, Dual Monitors. I am a Studio user and since version 18 I cannot export on MP4 format because the audio button is greyed out and no audio is exported. To add to Rohit's point, DaVinci Resolve will continue to read non-official MP4 files from your recorder, camera or application. The official MPEG spec matters only when rendering to an MP4 container from DaVinci Resolve. The change between Resolve 17 and 18 is cosmetic.
If you’ve generated optimized media or proxies, it defaults to whatever you’d selected at the time of generating those. Since those aren’t RAW, there’s nothing that’s going to be changing. I transcoded the sequence to DNxHD, then I exported an AAF to Resolve. In Resolve I did the Auto on the clips just to ballpark the exposure and I want to export that for folks to review with a reference (as in ...
Head to the color page, open the gallery, right-click on the viewer, and select grab still. The still will now appear in the gallery. Right-click on the still and select export. You can now save the still under a variety of different formats. With the still saved, import it back into your media pool and place it onto the timeline.I recorded in 6k BRAW 12:1 compression. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. If its greyed out with the recycle logo.. you may have a GPU resource issue. Lets start with one node first and make sure you can select that. Then add a second and see if that works. Peter. I've noticed some of my clips are greyed out in the timeline I created, but still seem to active and playing (see photo -- Video 5 track on timeline), while other clips are highlighted. Sep 2, 2023 · However when I go to the COLOR page, the Camera Raw settings are grayed out to CAMERA METADATA and don't reflect the actual Project Settings. Even when I modify all of the sliders in PROJECT settings and save them, no changes are applied to the video. It's as if the PROJECT settings are not really being saved or applied to the project. Make sure you video drivers are up to date, and under Preferences-Memory and GPU, try unchecking Use GPU Scopes. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. Be aware that only the studio version of Resolve includes access to all OFX plugins. If you have the free version, you might not be able to use that sharpen plugin. However you can use the built in sharpen/ blur options. The icon next to the tracker opens up the blur/mist/sharpen tool. Resolve won't make the Dual Screen menus active unless it thinks there are really 2 screens, and it only does that check when the app is launched. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen.
