Subaru outback driver window reset.

I haven't been able to find any reason for it, but every few months I'll be at a drive through or ATM and the window acts up. Symptoms: I try to roll down the window and nothing happens, it doesn't seem like it's straining ...I have a window that does not operate automatically on the way down and only raises 40-50mm per pull on the way up. I have tried the reset method over and over. I then stripped the entire system and found nothing wrong with the motor. I bought my 2011 Outback Limited 3.6R in August 2011. Sometime during the rainstorm last night, my driver side window rolled down halfway!!! I can't roll it up or down. I discovered puddles of water in my car this morning and had to drive to work like this because the Subaru dealership told me they don't have any loaner cars available.

Nov 23, 2018 · The window controller needs to be reset. Easy peasy! Turn the ignition on, no need to start the engine. Roll the driver's window halfway down. Pull the driver's window switch up and continue holding it up for a few seconds after it's fully closed. Repeat for the passenger window from the passenger's seat. Done!
