Normally, they should last a least a few weeks to a few months if the main battery is dead. If the main battery is dead I've had mine work fine 6mo+ later. Your battery could just have lost it's charge most likely.
Feb 22, 2020 · I am new to the Uniden SDS100 and SDS200. I have one of each; the 100 for the truck and the 200 with a mast-mounted Discone for beside my chair. I am completely ignorant to the proper use of quick keys and the best strategy for using favorites lists to my advantage. The SDS100 is silent. When I stop the SDS100 on the exact same frequency that the TRX-1 is decoding, programmed as a DMR freq., it doesn't even make a hit on the signal bar. I can't imagine the TRX-1 is that much more sensitive on DMR than the SDS100. The SDS100 sure does do a good job with the P25 Simulcast systems.Nov 12, 2020 · 1. NXDN Conventional works great. 2. Jun 5, 2020 · I bought my SDS100 new from zipscanner.com on April 9th, 2020 (Less than two months ago). Arrived on time, in new condition, all was well. Functionality of this scanner is fantastic. Programming is a breeze. Handles simulcast better than any other scanner out there. Speaker could be improved but its performance is acceptable. Uniden BCD536HP, BCD436HP, UBCD536PT, UBCD436PT, SDS100 (/E), SDS200 (/E) , USDS100 or UBCD3600XLT using the USB cable (supplied with scanner). Virtual control (ARC536PRO only) may require an additional connection to the GPS/serial port. See this document for more information. ARC536PRO audio recording requires a 1/8" audio cable.

Solder the red wires together and to pin 5, Black wires together and to pin 1, Green wires together and to pin 2. I soldered wires to the three pins on the USB plug first and then soldered the 3 different sets of wires to the leads. Solder the bare wires together. The white wires are not used.

From Scotland UK the EU variant SDS200E was chosen and purchased from Lynch and Sons. At the time of purchase I was unable to obtain any accessories such as the important but not vital GPS antenna.

It will fully seat on the scanner, and has an o-ring to maintain the weather resistance of the scanner. The REM-800B is the same antenna, but with a BNC mount. TETRA is a niche system type in North America, whereas ProVoice (EDACS) was fairly widespread, and still is to some degree.
