M4 vs 1301.
The M4 is in no way "Better" than a M2, or 1301. It's just different. The decision between a 1301 and M2 is a toss up. Basically, do you want a gas, or inertia gun. Reliability wise, they are equal, with a slight nod to the m2, since inertia guns run very clean, even after high shell count.

Subs a lot of plastic in - Makes the gun lighter which means you could likely maneuver it faster. It's plastic though which can also be a downside for some people. Significantly cheaper - ~$1200 for a 1301 LE vs ~$1800+ for an M4. Has the Beretta name behind it and a pretty good track record in normal use and competitions.
