Ryan Atkins. July 16, 2015 at 6:47 pm. In DaVinci Lite 11, you have to select the “Edit” tab to export XML. However, do know that any color information will not transfer over if doing XML. You must export from the “Deliver” tab for color info to be added. Reply to this Discussion!
Head to the color page, open the gallery, right-click on the viewer, and select grab still. The still will now appear in the gallery. Right-click on the still and select export. You can now save the still under a variety of different formats. With the still saved, import it back into your media pool and place it onto the timeline.In the Color page go to the video screen, right mouse click on the frame you want to export and select grab still. In the Stills panel right click on the still and export to your desired format. Nov 16, 2016 · For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.

In your case, it's happening because you selected BMD video in the gamma field; raw gamma settings are no longer available with that choice. You're not using either RCM or ACEs. Change that gamma setting to BMD Film.

I recorded in 6k BRAW 12:1 compression. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. Exposure treats the footage just the same as an iso level would. This explains at around the 10 min mark. I also couldn't play the files and the video was greyed out. The official MPEG spec matters only when rendering to an MP4 container from DaVinci Resolve. The change between Resolve 17 and 18 is cosmetic.
